Is it possible to apply PRINCE2® to a project that is already under way?
The short answer is yes. However, as with all changes that are introduced to a project, there should be a strong case for implementing it. The adoption of PRINCE2® will lead to changes in the project management team and in the monitoring and controlling of the work. An evaluation of the current status of the project is essential to determine the value added by introducing PRINCE2® mid project. |
