Matium van Antwerpen

Matium has been involved in project management for most of his career.  His initial experience was managing building projects for Ants Project Management Consultants. He has also project manage various Retail outlets for the cosmetic and clothing industry.

In 2001 Matium obtained his project management accreditation at the School of Project Management. In 2004 he obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation and PRINCE2® Practitioner certification.

He has been involved with projects ranging from implementation of IT solutions at a financial institution to outsourcing of the purchasing functions of a retail shop. He has successfully project managed the following:

• various residential building upgrades
• completed the process mapping and business consulting for a major African Bank
• Y2k projects in Ghana
• an on-line purchasing solution using the PRINCE2® methodology in the PRINCE2® role of Project Manager
• the implementation of an electronic filing solution for a large financial institution using PRINCE2® methodology in the PRINCE2® role of Project Manager
• Setting up the project office, systems and tools to project manage a multi-million rand project using PRINCE2® methodology in the PRINCE2® role of Project Support.
• Training of the SAP Leasing Solution. First ever of its kind implemented in the Banking industry.
• Was involved with the project management of a multi-million rand project for a large SA financial institution.
• APM Group Accredited PRINCE2® trainer.
